How did you stay inspired? It wasn’t always easy. Some days I felt like I was out of creativity, or that there were no subjects left that I hadn’t already carved! The fact that I was committed to doing a block a day forced me to find inspiration wherever I could. Sometimes I worked on a theme, and that would keep me going for several days. I also asked for suggestions from blog readers from time to time. Sometimes I used other things I was doing at the time as inspiration—like when I was teaching summer art camp classes, I did blocks that related to those classes.
